People fall in love with people. I fell in love with colours.
I don't remember when it started. Maybe when I was a child and I saw a rainbow for the first time and tried to catch it in my hands. I couldn't, but that desire to hold colours never left me.
For me, art is not a hobby. It's not a subject. It's how I breathe.
Colours Speak What Words Can't
When I am happy, I reach for yellow. Bright, sunny, full of hope. When I am quiet and calm, I find myself in blue. Deep, like the sky after the rain. When I am angry or restless, I throw red on the paper and suddenly I feel lighter.
Pink for passion soft, but strong. It reminds me to love what I do, fiercely and tenderly.
Green for growth, every leaf, every new stroke tells me I am still becoming, still learning.
Black for meditation not darkness, but depth. The colour where I sit with myself, in silence, and find peace.
And when I feel nothing, when my mind is blank art fills it.
That's the magic. You don't need perfect grammar to explain your feelings. You just need a colour. People may not understand your words, but they will always feel your art.
Art Taught Me Life
Art taught me what school never taught me
There is no mistake in art. If you put a wrong stroke, you don't erase it. You turn it into something new. Just like life.
Patience is a colour. You can't rush a painting. You have to wait for one layer to dry before you add the next.
Everything is beautiful if you look closely. A broken wall, a fallen leaf, a spilled coffee everything has a texture, a shade, a story.
My hand with colours are the best partners. They speak my imagination,my words,my emotions and never judge me. They never say "this is wrong" or "you can't do it." They just flow with me, wherever I want to go.
People often ask me, "What will you do with art? Will it give you a job? Will it give you money?"
I smile. Not everything you love has to give you money. Some things give you a reason to live. Art gives me that.
When the world feels too loud, too full of problems, I just sit with my colours. No noise. No judgement. Just me, a blank paper, and infinite possibilities.
Some people meditate to find peace. I paint and dance.
Because in the end, life itself is art. God gave us a blank canvas, and we are all just trying to fill it with our own colours.
My canvas is still half empty. And I am in love with the process of filling it.
So keep painting, and fill your life with as many colours as you want. Live to create.
